Indications for EPITACT^® blue nail protectors

To be worn during sports practice, the EPITACT^® blue nail protectors have a dual action:

They prevent the formation of bruised nails and blisters;
They relieve pain related to already formed injuries (bruised, broken, and damaged nails, blisters).

They allow you to continue your activity while remaining effective.

How do they work?

The sports nail protectors are made from EPITHELIUMTACT 02, a silicone gel that absorbs pressure and micro-shocks on the nail.

Thanks to its excellent viscoelastic properties, a thickness of just one millimeter of gel is sufficient for full effectiveness without creating bulk in the shoe. Additionally, they provide ideal support due to the elasticity of the materials.

Usage tips

Wash before the first use and after each use.
Use the blue nail protectors on clean and dry skin.
Do not shorten the protectors, as this compromises their strength.
Remove the protectors every evening to avoid the risk of maceration.
Place the protector in the provided metallic pouch until the next use.

Contraindications for silicone nail protectors

Do not use on a skin lesion.
In cases of individuals with diabetes, arteritis, lower limb neuropathy, or varicose ulcers: consult your doctor or podiatrist, and monitor your foot during use.

How to maintain your protectors?

The sports nail protectors are hand washable (without scrubbing) with water and soap. Allow to air dry. Discard and replace the device as soon as cracks appear in the gel or degradation of the fabric or seams.

They are available in 3 sizes to fit the big toe as well as the 2nd and 3rd toes. Longer, these three toes are more often subject to pressure and micro-traumas in shoes.
